Karmic astrology - karma in the horoscope

Karma in the Horoscope

The topic of karma is one of the most trending today. Everyone is talking about karma, its lessons, and the people fated to us by destiny. In many cases, the topic of karma has become the most common explanation for our problems, which at times, in my view, prevents us from gaining a deeper insight into the events unfolding around us. Karmic astrology in its Western variant is a relatively new branch of astrology. Classical Western astrology developed within a Christian society to which the idea of reincarnation was foreign.

The interesting thing for me here is that really good astrologers in this field usually receive information through channeling and in many cases have shamanic initiation - Martin Schulman, Jeff Green. The information cannot be verified in practice unlike other sections, but usually deep in our souls we feel or know that this is so. In many cases our life situation has already shown it as well.

The astrological chart shows not only our lessons and debts from past lives, but also the higher spiritual path that the soul has chosen before being reborn. We have a choice whether to embark on this path or not, but still it is good to know something about the direction.

Karmic astrology shows the potential of values, abilities, and beliefs with which we enter this life. Following your karmic lessons and direction often brings peace and clarity in life and very often visible successes. It is easier after all to swim with the current. Usually the period around the age of 36 is very indicative - the areas of life in which we fulfill our karmic goals mark a visible flourishing and rise, and vice versa - those in which we follow our old models often go down or even collapse.
The other thing that interests people are relationships, their interactions with their partners, children, parents, what are the lessons we need to learn in these relationships. This question is answered by the karmic aspects in synastry.

It is good to know that karmic does not mean lifelong, mandatory, or compulsory. More often we have relationships for a certain period of time with someone who shows us something about ourselves and then both of us are free to go our own way. If the karma is really very heavy, we may be forced to take care of someone sick and unable to leave, but these cases are isolated. It is not necessary to program our consciousness with the thought that we are karmically burdened or obligated. After all, everything is karma, our every action creates the karma for our next lives and anyway before reaching Nirvana we cannot get out of the spiral. So it is good for the information about karma to be used with common sense as well.

The significators of karmic lessons in the horoscope are the North and South Lunar Nodes, trans-Saturnian retrograde planets, especially Pluto, Chiron, the Black Moon (Lilith), and the Vertex point. For me, the best books are "Astrology for the Soul" by Jan Spiller, which has deservedly been republished for the third time, "Karmic Astrology" by Martin Schulman, and "Pluto" by Jeff Green, which have not been translated and make understanding difficult. For those who read in English, I recommend R. Blaschke. The topic of the lunar nodes is extensively examined and commented on in many books and therefore I want to focus on some other karmic indications in the horoscope.
