C
orporate astrology is relatively widespread in England and the USA. Across the ocean, its services have been utilized by many famous and wealthy men, such as James Pierpont Morgan, Walt Disney, and W. D. Gann. Disney coordinated all premieres and advertising campaigns with the recommendations of an astrologer, and to J.P. Morgan belongs the phrase „Millionaires don't employ astrologers, billionaires do.“
What is corporate astrology?
At the beginning of astrological research is the drafting of the horoscope of the company or organization. There are various practices regarding what data should form the basis of a company's "astro passport." According to Western astrologers, the best results are obtained from the horoscope compiled according to the data for the day and hour when the document with the description of the activity subject, statute, capital, and headquarters of the company was submitted to the court or before a notary; for shops, restaurants, and other commercial sites, these are the day and hour when they are opened for the first time, in other cases - from the first working day in the new office. When the dates are unknown, the date of entry in the commercial register (incorporation data), the date when the transaction was concluded, or the day when the company's shares first went public is used. In all cases, corporate astrology requires an analysis of past events in order to refine the chart by which predictions can be made further on.
When making forecasts, the horoscope of the owner or manager responsible for the respective decisions is also examined. A well-chosen date for starting an activity cannot automatically save the company from market problems or bad management. However, it can help inevitable critical situations pass more painlessly.
General recommendations for choosing a company chart. It is extremely favorable on the day the company is founded or work begins, for there to be a 120-degree angle between the Moon and Jupiter. It is even more profitable if they are in the water signs Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio. The time between 9:30 and 11:30 is favorable, especially between 10-10:30, since at this time the Sun is in the eleventh house of the horoscope (in astrology it is accepted that the circle is divided into 12 sectors (houses), with each of them "sheltering" different life characteristics). This provides an opportunity for commercial contacts with powerful partners or previous clients; it is wise to avoid periods of retrograde motion of Mercury (the periods in which the first planet seems motionless). Another unfavorable circumstance is the so-called "void of course" Moon - when for a short period its location does not allow forming an angle with any planet. According to an article in the "Wall Street Journal", since the early 1990s out of 1,400 bankrupt enterprises almost all of them started their activity during this arrangement of the planets.
Another important recommendation is that the activity with which the company will engage should be in accordance with the astrological signs represented in the chart - for example, in the case when luxury goods and services are offered, it is favorable in the company's chart to have planets located in the sign Leo - the ruler of luxury and gold. Astrologer Johann Viring describes a case from his practice in which an enterprise tries for a long time to establish on the market a series of luxury cosmetic products for demanding and solvent clients. Despite the professional approach and the help of highly qualified specialists in the field of sales, advertising, and psychology, success eludes them. Then the managers turn for consultations to an astrologer. According to the astrological analysis, neither the products nor the method of launch correspond to the company's horoscope. Instead of advertising for prestige and aesthetics, an orientation toward reason and prevention is recommended, since the rising sign of the company is the sign Virgo, and the Sun is in the sign of Capricorn. After reorienting toward the new line, the products establish themselves on the market. Very interesting are also the studies that record the general characteristics of successful companies. In 1984, Samuel Mull examines the dates of entry in the commercial register of companies that for decades have enjoyed a high rating in the Standard & Poor 500 index. All solid companies that for a long period of time have proven their reliability. It turns out that in this prestigious list, companies in whose horoscopes the Sun is in Cancer and Capricorn predominate - two signs that in astrology are traditionally associated with economy and business. The largest study of the horoscopes of successful and bankrupt companies so far has been made by Austrian financier and astrologer Manfred Zimmel (www.amanita.at). As a sign of success, he accepts the rating for the reliability of companies on the seven-step scale of the Austrian Credit Protection Association. It turns out that among Austrian companies as well, the most reliable, stable, and most prudently handling resources are companies with many planets in Capricorn. Companies in whose horoscopes spring and summer signs predominate more often suffer bankruptcies. They are more aggressive, innovative, and handle their resources more carelessly and are less concerned about external ratings.
Overall, companies founded in the spring, especially those with more planets located in Taurus and Gemini, have weaker reliability, while companies with prevailing signs in Sagittarius and Capricorn enjoy a higher rating. Similar results are registered by studies of American companies. Many of the bankrupt companies, according to Zimmel, have in their horoscopes the planet Mars located in the signs Leo and Cancer. It is also interesting that companies with predominantly harmonious aspects (angles from 60 to 120 degrees) in their horoscopes start and survive more easily at the beginning - which both in the West and here is the most important requirement for astrologers. But practice shows that over a longer period of time a loss of positions is possible, as companies become lethargic and overly complacent. In the charts of truly successful companies, for example Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard, there is always a certain amount of interplanetary angles of 90 and 180 degrees, known in astrology as "tense". A powerful tense configuration is in the horoscope of Enron, a company that in Fortune Magazine's ranking is defined as the most innovative among the most successful companies and whose recent bankruptcy is defined as the largest in corporate history in the USA.
Corporate astrology can be very useful in choosing a successful time for promotions, negotiations, opening branches. Choice of time is one of the most ancient tools of astrology - in the Middle Ages crowned personas and high church dignitaries took advantage of it, since the volume of calculations was huge and before the advent of computers required a lot of time and resources. One of the most famous cases of consciously chosen time are the founding of Constantinople, the coronation of Elizabeth I, and the departure of Christopher Columbus. By the way, Columbus himself dealt with astrology and in the ship logs noted the current planetary combinations. On the day of sailing, his ships leave the port at sunrise and wait 3 hours before going into the open sea. In this way, harmful indications are avoided and positive ones are enhanced in the travel chart.
A good choice of time, however, only facilitates what is possible in the natal horoscope or in the company's horoscope. Danish astrologer Karen Bosen gives an example of a large Danish company that in 1997 negotiated for several months unsuccessfully with high expenses for the purchase of a foreign company. Both in the company's horoscope and in the chief manager's horoscope, the opportunities for foreign connections exist, but are not particularly favorably placed. Help is needed - i.e., choosing a successful time in which the negatives can be eliminated. Six months later, Jupiter, the planet of expansion and luck, moves through the ninth house in the company's horoscope - this is the sector from every horoscope that is responsible for relations with foreign countries. During this period, the company resumes negotiations, makes a profitable purchase, and today operates as a successful multinational company. The owner's horoscope is the other important factor for company success and development. Microsoft's chart is strong, but even more successful is Bill Gates's horoscope. He was born with Pluto in the house of money - an arrangement characteristic of many millionaires, but his Pluto coincides with the planet of money - Jupiter. Moreover, both planets in Gates's horoscope are in correlation with the star Regulus. Regulus is known as the royal fixed star, found in the horoscopes of many famous personalities - for example Napoleon, and promises successes that exceed the boundaries of the generally accepted. On the other hand, negative influences in the manager's horoscope are always reflected in the positions of the company. As early as 1998, astrologers predict a difficult period for Microsoft from 2000 to mid-2002. During this period, the negative influences in Microsoft's chart are moderate, but in Bill Gates's horoscope Neptune begins to influence unfavorably, bringing opportunities for intrigues, ambiguities, scandals, and a damaged image.
